We are looking for an experienced People & Wellbeing Advisor to join our People Services team based at our head office in Warrington, Cheshire WA2 7JB.
Salary: £37,855 per annum
Hours: 39 per week
Contract: 10 month fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) with potential to extend to 12 months
Location: Hybrid working - home working alongside travel to Head Office (based in Warrington)
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional People advice to managers
- Manage a caseload of People Relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, ill-health and performance
- Coach and support managers through formal processes, including dismissal where required
- Support consultation processes, redundancy and change programmes
- Assist with complex workstreams such as TUPE, restructuring and service change
- Promote wellbeing, engagement and positive employee relations
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, DBS and organisational policies
- Contribute to audits, KPI reporting, policy development and continuous improvement
- Visit operational services to provide hands-on People support when required
Qualifications:
Candidates must have CIPD Level 5 qualification and generalist people relations experience, including complex case management. You must have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, and have the ability to balance competing priorities and to work independently.
