As a Support Worker, you'll be supporting adults on a person-centred basis to live independently and receive the support they need in their own homes. You will be supporting a variety of people with different needs which will include support with personal care, medication assistance, meal prep and domestic tasks. Your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same.

That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand individual needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces. We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with our service users and fellow colleagues. Salary: £14.90 per hour which includes an element of travel time. Additional travel time and downtime 30 mins or less paid at national living wage.

Weekly Hours: Various guaranteed contracts available from 16hrs - 30hrs with the option to pick up regular overtime working various shifts between 7am-11pm including working some weekends.

Location: Ellesmere Port & Chester. The service is due to open in May with a planned paid induction for staff prior to opening.

Working in close partnership with local authorities and other health and social care professionals, we support people to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life at home. Our services offer a flexible range of both regulated and non-regulated support, tailored to meet individual needs.

It's important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space, you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align with ours. Car drivers/access to own transport would be an advantage to work across the patch.
