We have an opportunity available for a Carer Advisor/Administrator to join the team at our Peterborough Carers Wellbeing Service based in Cambridgeshire, PE19 2BU.
Salary: £25,298 p/a | Hours: 35 weekly

Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for carers accessing the service.
- Undertake triage‑based conversations to identify needs and provide up‑to‑date information and advice to carers, referring them to Carer Support Workers when appropriate.
- Provide support in planning and arranging a range of peer group, carer activities and training sessions.
- Maintain a telephone‑based role with ongoing contact with carers, professionals and partner organisations, including coordination and management of Emergency Support Plans.
- Handle general office tasks such as answering phones, dealing with ad‑hoc queries and assisting rota management.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently while managing sensitive and urgent situations calmly and professionally.
- Previous administration experience, strong IT skills and knowledge of Office 365, along with strong telephone skills.
- Experience within a health and social care setting is an advantage but not essential.
- No prior industry experience or specific qualifications required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
