We have an opportunity available for a Supported Living, Waking Nights Support Worker to join the team at The Academy based in Warrington, WA1 2RU. The service consists of 22 self-contained flats and provides support and a home to adults 18+ living with a mental health diagnosis and other health conditions.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 30 hours weekly (shifts are 10pm - 8am, three nights weekly; alternate weekends required)
Please note this role is lone working.

As a Night Support Worker – waking nights in our supported living team your role will involve providing person-centered support to enable tenants to live independently in their own properties and move towards securing their own accommodation. You will create a warm and welcoming environment for those you support, ensuring that they feel valued and supported. Your tailor-made approach to care will allow you to provide personalised support that meets the unique needs of everyone.
As you assist with personal care, administer medication, conduct check-in visits, and assist with domestic tasks, you will be empowering individuals to take control of their own lives and achieve their dreams of independent living. With your unwavering courage, you will tackle any challenges that may arise with determination and a can-do attitude, knowing that your support can make all the difference in the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications: It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align with ours here at Making Space.
