We have an opportunity available for a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the team within our Psychological Wellbeing Service based in Warrington, WA2 7JB. You’ll work across the Wigan and Warrington boroughs delivering Step 2 low‑intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and, as a key member of the team, you will work closely with our clinical team to maintain our high standard and help us to develop this further.

Making Space Talking Therapies provides evidence‑based interventions within a stepped care model, for the treatment of people with mild to moderate common mental health problems. As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner you will manage your own caseload providing evidence based treatments, this involves using Silvercloud packages and weekly telephone reviews. This role will also involve face‑to‑face assessments clinic in the community to ensure access to Talking Therapies is achieved throughout the Wigan Borough.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Candidates must be a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and registered with either the BPS or BABCP.
  • Candidates must have access to their own transport as the role will require you to travel to locations within the area of operation.
