We have an opportunity available for a Bank Support Worker to join the St. Helens Supported Housing team. This position involves providing floating support to cover the St. Helens area, including Burtonhead Court WA9 5DD, Cherry Tree Place WA9 2NJ, Peel Street WA12 9DN and Prescot Road WA10 3HS. Salary £12.60 per hour. Hours Bank.

As a Support Worker in Supported Living, you’ll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently and move towards independent accommodation. Your days will be varied, including:

  • Medication assistance
  • Accessing the community
  • Domestic tasks
  • Providing flexible, client-focused support to meet individual needs

We’re looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients’ needs with a positive, engaging approach to make service users feel welcomed.

We’re not strictly focused on formal qualifications for this role; we value your values and ability to build relationships with service users and colleagues. No prior industry experience or specific qualifications are required to be considered. On joining Making Space you will receive on-the-job training, with opportunities to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
