We have an opportunity available for a Cook to join the team at Beyer Lodge based in Manchester, M18 8DF.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 24.5 hours weekly
Shifts: 9am-4pm, on a rotating schedule of three shifts one week and four shifts the next. This role includes working alternative weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that our residents' taste buds are delighted with every bite.
- Organise and control the efficient production of quality freshly prepared food, while meeting individual dietary requirements and staying within agreed budgets.
- Review menus regularly with residents, ensuring their feedback is taken on board to create mouth-watering dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with legislation and organisation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience supporting individuals with dysphasia in a nursing home setting, including a strong knowledge and understanding of dietary modifications and appropriate food and fluid consistencies is essential.
- On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
