We have an opportunity available for a Recovery Worker to join the team at Stockport Connect Hub based in SK2 6RE. The service will support those with enduring mental health conditions to live well, providing tailored support in a nurturing environment.
Salary: £13.12 per hour
Hours: 37 weekly

Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You'll provide compassionate, person-centered, and recovery-focused care and support, helping individuals build resilience, coping strategies, and self-management skills. It's not just about addressing immediate needs; it's about empowering individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being in the long term. By fostering partnerships, signposting, and making referrals, you'll ensure that those attending our service have access to all the specialist, universal, and targeted support that they need.
Qualifications
Prior industry experience or specific qualifications are not required. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. The role is based at Stockport Connect Hub, with daily home and community visits. A full driving licence and own transport would be preferable. We are seeking individuals whose personal values align with ours at Making Space.
