This is a community based role. A full driving licence and access to your own reliable transport are essential as carer assessments are often carried out in the carers home. A good geographical understanding of the local areas is advantageous. The role covers the Macclesfield area and surrounding and south Cheshire East.
Salary: £13.90 per hour.
Hours: 30 hours weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide values-based support, advice and information to service users and carers, ensuring they have access to practical and emotional support.
- Assist carers to develop coping strategies.
- Conduct home visits and carer assessments.
- Provide information about mental health and available support services.
- Work one‑to‑one with carers to empower and help them with a range of matters.
Qualifications:
- No prior industry experience or specific qualifications required.
- Full UK driving licence and own reliable transport.
