About Making Moves
Making Moves is a London based real estate consultancy that’s reshaping how people think about property. With a bold, fresh approach, we advise forward thinking businesses and individuals on every aspect of their real estate journey - from commercial office strategies to residential property solutions. Whether it’s finding the perfect office space, managing a lease renewal, exiting a property, assisting with project management and fit out, or navigating the residential market, our team handles the process end to end. We’re proud to offer flexible, global office solutions alongside a growing residential arm, giving clients access to expert support, wherever they are and whatever they need.
The mission for this role...
As a Junior Property Advisor, you’ll join the team in a supportive, hands on role where you’ll learn fast, build your market knowledge, and help our Directors and Senior Advisors deliver a brilliant client experience. From researching options and keeping our market intel organised, to booking viewings and pulling together proposal materials, you’ll keep the details tight so the team can Level Up the quality of our advice and Make It Happen for our clients, every day. This is a lease support role. You’ll be closely involved in live requirements and client service, but you won’t be expected to go out and “run your own deals” from day one.
Training & development
One of our values is Level Up. We want our team to grow, progress, and build long‑term careers at Making Moves. You’ll learn on the job, supported by experienced advisors, with plenty of exposure to live client work, how we run lease searches, and the day‑to‑day skills that make great property advisors. You’ll get regular feedback and coaching from the Directors and senior team. You’ll have clear development goals, and you’ll build responsibility as your confidence grows. If you have a relevant degree and want to explore a professional pathway (e.g., APC/MRICS) later on, we’ll have that conversation once you’re established in the role.
Your focus will be…
- Market knowledge & research: Supporting senior team members to research, search and source new office space in Central London using online tools, our internal resources, networking events, and (over time) your own growing set of contacts. Building and maintaining up to date information about available office space, keeping trackers, proposals, and notes accurate and organised. Managing the collection of ‘off‑market’ properties. Supporting the agency team to ensure these properties are matched with client requirements and included when sending property schedules to clients.
- Client support & coordination: Supporting senior advisors with the day to day coordination behind live client requirements, so they can focus on leading deals. Arranging and (when required) accompanying clients on viewing tours alongside senior team members, helping capture feedback, actions, and next steps. Assisting with client presentations and follow up contact, including booking viewings and gathering proposals.
- Pipeline & relationship building: Building and cultivating relationships with landlords and their agents by initiating and conducting follow up communications. Working with the Directors in the Agency Team to support the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals and performance targets. Working within our CRM system to support the team to manage, cultivate, and financially track client relationships.
- Team operations & continuous improvement: Obtaining client feedback and flagging service improvement opportunities. Supporting marketing activity by coordinating with the Marketing Team to generate new prospects (and supporting social media activity where appropriate).
You’ll thrive at Making Moves if...
This role is ideal if you’re very early in your property career (or making a switch into it) and want a hands on, office‑based role where you can learn quickly by working closely with experienced advisors. We know great candidates come from all walks of life, and you don’t have to tick every box. If you bring energy, curiosity, and an enthusiasm to Make It Happen, we’re excited to hear from you.
You’ll do well here if you:
- Are naturally organised, take ownership, and keep people updated.
- Have a genuine interest in property (experience is a bonus, not essential) and want to build a long‑term career in real estate. You don’t need a degree, we’re open to people from a range of backgrounds (including those who’ve worked in property already).
- Enjoy supporting others and take pride in being the person who makes things run smoothly, especially while you’re learning the ropes.
- Are confident communicating with clients, landlords, and agents (written and verbal), and you’re comfortable picking up the phone.
- Have strong attention to detail (spelling, grammar, numbers) and can produce accurate, polished client materials.
- Can juggle multiple priorities, manage your time well, and stay calm under pressure.
- Are IT literate (MS Office/Google suite; Excel/Sheets) and open to working in CRM systems and internal tools.
Remote vs in‑person working balance
We are primarily an in‑person business, believing in the power of collaboration when we are together. Our work‑from‑home policy varies by team, reflecting the unique needs and goals of each group. After completing their onboarding, most team members may work from home one day per week.
