The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 (Earn up to £15.00 per hour including tips)

Hours/Schedule: 45-50 hours per week

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to company standards.
  • Ensure ingredients are prepared, portioned, and presented with consistency and quality.
  • Maintain freshness and quality of fish, seafood, rice, and other ingredients.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and food safety procedures at all times.
  • Keep sushi station clean, organised, and fully stocked during service.
  • Support kitchen operations during busy periods and assist with stock management.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous sushi chef or Japanese kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and safe handling of raw fish.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to presentation and quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player with a positive attitude.
