Pay Rate: £32,760.00-£35,100.00 per year (up to £45,000 OTE)

Hours: 45-50 per week (hours are negotiable)

Maki & Ramen Birmingham is looking for an experienced and driven Restaurant General Manager to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a vibrant, expanding team, we’d love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high‑performing team
  • Deliver outstanding customer service standards
  • Manage P&L, costs, and profitability
  • Drive sales through local marketing and partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Manage stock, suppliers, and labour costs
  • Create a positive and energetic work environment

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager in hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on sales and profitability
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Passion for food, ideally with interest in Japanese cuisine
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
