Own and Execute Marketing That Works
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can independently run and evolve our core marketing engine. This is a highly executional, doing-focused role — not about managing a team (yet), but about delivering high quality work & insights that gets results. You’ll be using AI and our expert freelancers to get the best results you can.
You’ll be the most senior person focused solely on marketing at MakeMyHouseGreen. Our founders bring years of startup marketing experience and will support your career growth, but you’ll lead on delivery. We need someone who can move fast, test ideas, improve results, and think deeply about how we communicate and convert.
What You’ll Do
- Write, test, and schedule campaign emails to drive consultation bookings
- Optimise automated email flows for better performance
- Analyse email metrics (open rates, click-throughs, conversions)
- Update and improve website content and messaging (SEO content and Website tweaks)
- Run A/B tests to improve landing page conversion rates
- Speak with sales team and customers to uncover messaging that resonates
- Use AI tools day to day across everything you do
- Co-ordinate and improve our local council marketing campaigns
- Manage logistics for tradeshows and coordinate with other growth partners
- Prioritise weekly marketing actions based on impact and insight
- Support or coordinate Adwords/SEO freelancers and campaigns
- Manage, test, and optimise direct mail campaigns
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- 3+ years in a marketing or growth role with strong messaging skills
- Excellent copywriting across emails, websites, and campaigns
- Proactive and independent: you get things done without being asked
- Analytical mindset: you care about performance and love a good test
- Comfortable with customer interviews, sales feedback, and insight gathering
- Curious and confident using AI tools for analysis and execution
Nice to Haves
- Experience managing freelancers or external partners (SEO, Adwords)
- Data and performance marketing knowledge (CRO, attribution)
- Webflow or other CMS editing experience
A Day in the Life
You start the day reviewing performance of a few automated email flows. One is underperforming, so you tweak the subject line and body copy, inspired by customer language you pulled from an AI analysis of sales calls. Then you jump into a sync with the sales team to understand what’s resonating with leads.
After lunch, you roll out a quick A/B test on the website with our tech team, testing new language that reflects those insights. Later, you’re in a team meeting brainstorming with our council partners on how to increase engagement and uptake. You finish by updating the priority list of experiments to run next week.
