This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to build from the ground up, from shaping the service offering to influencing the culture, go-to market strategy, and customer experience. You’ll play a leading role in driving growth, bringing your industry expertise, network, and energy to help us create a customer-first, innovation-led service. You understand the challenges businesses face with connectivity and know how to position solutions that overcome them. You won’t just be selling a service, you’ll be helping build it. Key Responsibilities: • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in the UK and international markets. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads across SMEs, mid-market, and enterprise sectors. • Position and promote their connectivity services, including DIA, MPLS, SD WAN, cloud on-ramps, and managed connectivity. • Lead client engagement from initial contact through to commercial close, working alongside technical pre-sales and delivery teams. • Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and telco aggregators. • Represent the client at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior leadership. • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, campaign development, and service packaging. Required Fundamentals: • Proven experience in a BDM or sales role within the connectivity, telecoms, or managed services sector • Track record of building a sales pipeline from scratch, demonstrated ability to open doors and close deals • Strong understanding of connectivity services: DIA, Ethernet, MPLS, SD-WAN, IP Transit, cloud interconnects, etc. • Knowledge of commercial models, carrier negotiations, and solution-based selling. • Experience working with or for SMEs, MSPs, or network integrators preferred. • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate with minimal direction and thrive in a boutique, fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales reporting, and performance metrics.
