The predicted salary is between 14.2 - 14.2 £ per hour.

Location: Big Noise Wester Hailes, Edinburgh

Hours: 7.5 hours per week, during school term time only (40 weeks per year) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons.

Salary: £25,848 – £27,680 per annum pro‑rata (£14.20 per hour). Pay award from 1st July 2026 pending.

The programme is focused on early intervention and stimulating generational social change, increasing confidence, aspiration, community cohesion, pride, and developing high-level skills in young people. Big Noise operates six community orchestras across the UK.

As a Support Worker you will support musicians in delivering the after‑school programme and holiday school. Your duties include:

  • Participating in music sessions and modelling engagement and attention for the children.
  • Building strong relationships with children and families to help them maximise their potential.
  • Supporting musicians during the programme and ensuring a positive learning environment.
