Salary: £42,983 - £47,012 per annum, pro-rata. 4.5 days a week in term time, 5 days a week in school holidays.

By playing music together in ensembles and orchestras, we aim to grow confidence, respect, teamwork and aspiration in the children, young people and communities we work with. We deliver our work through six Big Noise programmes spread across Scotland.
Role Overview:
- Join Sistema Scotland as part of a dynamic team, delivering a visionary, socially-driven music programme.
- Work closely with the Director & Deputy Director of Music and other Curriculum Leaders to promote best practice in the delivery and development of the Big Noise General Musicianship curriculum, and support delivery of sessions across all centres.
- The teams work with children from pre-school to adults.
- Lead and mentor musicians and teachers in delivery of the Big Noise General Musicianship curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback to musicians/teachers.
- Develop and innovate classroom musicianship sessions for diverse age groups.
- Support delivery of sessions at all Big Noise centres.
- Engage in curriculum design and development in line with current educational practice.
- Promote the benefits of the social programme and foster community development.
Qualifications:
- Degree level education or equivalent qualification.
- Professional performing experience.
- Experience in leadership roles and responsibilities.
- Track record of delivering innovative musicianship sessions.
- Knowledge of current issues in music, community development and education in Scotland.
- Working knowledge of appropriate pedagogic approaches.
