We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience leading a team in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, a positive outlook, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Support a team, and be heavily involved in the planning and implementation of activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the children's emotional and social development.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
  • Lead team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity and encourages participation from all children.
  • Lead and support the development of staff in your room.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
  • Work closely with Managers and SENDCO toward the development of the nursery.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 3).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
