Make UK Defence is a national not-for-profit, member owned defence trade association, part of Make UK – the manufacturers’ organisation.
We champion and support the UK’s innovative and diverse defence manufacturers and the wider defence supply chain.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Membership Executive.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our membership processes and providing exceptional support to our valued members.
We are seeking someone with the ability to progress and develop their career into a membership manager, eventually working with higher levels of member companies and leading on visits & events.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new members, upgrades/downgrades and resignations
- Invoicing for new members and renewals
- Keep the CRM system and member platform accurate and up to date
- Process customer queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Provide admin support to a growing variety of MUKD events including webinars, meet the buyers and the MUKD Defence Summit and Dinner – booking process, manage enquiries and attend some of the events
- Support the membership managers with admin and queries
- Account manage some Level 1 members including Teams meetings and managing member queries
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or sales roles preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
