Our client is a leading licensed supplier of socks, nightwear, and underwear to major UK supermarkets and high-street retailers. They're seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth across their retail portfolio, which includes UK supermarkets and high-street retailers.
Based in Leicester - ideally 4 days a week in their office.
Salary: up to 40K based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Relationship Building
- Manage day-to-day relationships with key wholesale clients (retailers, distributors, e-commerce partners).
- Act as the main point of contact for all account-related matters.
- Conduct regular meetings (in-person/virtual) to review performance and opportunities.
- Build long-term partnerships to secure repeat business.
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet or exceed seasonal and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Pitch new licensed collections and product ranges.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms.
- Product & Range Planning
- Work closely with design and buying teams to align ranges with customer needs.
- Present seasonal collections and secure orders.
- Use sales data and trends to inform product development.
- Licensing & Brand Compliance
- Ensure all products meet licensor guidelines and approval processes.
- Liaise with licensors and internal licensing teams when required.
- Maintain brand integrity across all accounts.
- Order & Production Coordination
- Oversee order placement, tracking, and fulfilment.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and merchandising teams.
- Manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Market & Trend Analysis
- Monitor competitor activity and retail trends.
- Provide insights on consumer demand and licensing opportunities.
- Feed back market intelligence to internal teams.
