THE ROLE
Weâre looking for friendly, organised and peopleâfocused Studio & Community Managers to run the dayâtoâday operations of our MAKE IT Bow or MAKE IT Barking sites. This is a handsâon role at the heart of our spaces â part host, part organiser, part problemâsolver and part brand ambassador. Youâll keep the building looking great, support our members, deliver tours, run events, and help bring community and culture to life onsite.
Youâll work closely with:
- Head of Operations â operational standards & building performance
- Head of Sales & Partnerships â tours, enquiries & sales readiness
- Head of Marketing & Business Development â onsite brand activation, content & events

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Member Experience & Community
- Build warm, supportive relationships with members
- Welcome guests and maintain a friendly frontâofâhouse presence
- Handle queries and resolve issues with clarity, empathy and professionalism
- Plan, organise and deliver member events and community moments
Operations & Building Management
- Complete daily building checks and maintain high presentation standards
- Coordinate contractor visits, repairs and maintenance
- Ensure all H&S, fire safety and compliance tasks are completed
- Keep the building clean, safe, organised and energised
- Deliver engaging, confident tours for prospective members
- Ensure the site is always "tourâready" and looking its best
- Provide the Head of Sales and Partnerships with accurate building information and updates
- Support hire space enquiries and viewings
Marketing & Brand Activation
- Assist the Head of Marketing and Building Development with onsite content capture and brand moments
- Maintain signage, posters and visual presentation
- Support events, workshops and cultural activations
Administration & Systems
- Use Nexudus for bookings, member info and building tasks
- Use Google Workspace for daily coordination
- Support onboarding/offboarding and access management
- Keep logs, checklists and reports accurate and up to date
WHAT YOU'LL USE
- Paxton access control system
- Nexudus workspace management system used for bookings, member management, occupancy visibility and operational coordination
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
- Canva, Adobe Express or similar creative tools
- Mailchimp
- CRM, analytics dashboards and basic reporting platforms
- Internal communication tools
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience
- Experience in a customerâfacing role such as hospitality, coworking, events, retail or community spaces
- Experience in workspace or creative hubs is a bonus (but not required)
- Experience delivering great service in fastâpaced environments
