The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that Sexual Safety Support functions are an integral part of the Trusts services, maintaining current skill sets for the role and ensuring that policies and processes allow for sensitive and swift management of concerns regarding Sexual Safety. The role involves liaising with relevant stakeholders to influence changes in practices, contributing to the review of policies and procedures, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with policy and procedures related to Sexual Safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake audits on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance with policy and procedures aligned to sexual safety in the workplace.
  • Produce reports to evidence the result of audits.
  • Deliver often difficult, contentious and uncomfortable information to senior managers in relation to Sexual Safety and its continued development across UHNM.
  • Work in emotional and sensitive situations that require a high level of emotional effort, mental ability and concentration; remain calm, compassionate, diplomatic and tactful.
  • Deal with highly sensitive confidential information.
  • Work alongside and provide support to the corporate safeguarding team and HR People Teams and People Organisational Development Team to implement new ways of working in relation to Sexual Safety across the Trust, collaborating with teams across the Care Groups.
