Job Summary People (HR) Advisor – University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust We are looking for 2 permanent part‑time (18.45 hours) People Advisors to work within our established People Operations team at UHNM. The role requires a L5 Diploma in Human Resources Management (or equivalent CIPD accredited qualification) and demonstrable experience working in Human Resources. Main Duties Deliver advice and guidance in line with legislation, UHNM policies and NHS terms and conditions on a wide range of issues, including sickness absence management, disciplinary, performance and resolution. Coach managers through formal sickness, resolution, conduct and capability processes. Help clinical teams understand people issues by producing reports using Trust systems and work with the People Business Partner to understand trends in the Division. Manage workload, apply compassion, tact and diplomacy to difficult situations, and know when to escalates. Use Microsoft Office and bespoke systems. Operate autonomously, leading own caseload.
