Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of national targets and maintain clear validation of all data.
  • Manage and prioritise a busy workload in a fast‑paced and demanding working environment.
  • Play a crucial role within the Directorate Team to support efficient operational management and delivery of performance targets.
  • Work under pressure and prioritise set tasks and objectives, adopting a flexible and self‑motivated approach.
  • Support staff management and develop strong multi‑disciplinary relationships.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

  • Intermediate level qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. HNC, Diploma).
  • Reasonable standard of GCSE A‑C (4‑9) or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Management or a health‑related subject.

  • Awareness of NHS plan access targets.
  • Diplomacy and ability to deal with difficult situations.
  • Leadership and team building skills.
  • Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and meet deadlines.
  • Able to develop strong multi‑disciplinary relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral & written.
  • Able to positively influence to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service.

  • Experience working in an acute Trust.
  • Experience of waiting list management.

  • Experience of Excel, both in data management and data creation.

  • Experience managing change issues.
