Overview

As we prepare to officially launch our brand‑new Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in Hanley, Stoke‑on‑Trent, UHNMs Imaging Department is excited to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Diagnostic Radiographers to join our expanding Community X‑ray team. Roles are available on a full‑time, part‑time, or flexible basis.

You’ll be part of a rotational team, delivering high‑quality care across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about patient‑centred care, excellent communicators, and adaptable team players ready to make a difference in a dynamic, multi‑site environment.

You will act as clinical lead when you are on duty. You will organise and prioritise competing clinical demands. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, professional environment that we can all be proud of. You will need to be knowledgeable, confident, handle pressure well whilst still being approachable, supportive and caring to all.

You may be a band 6 Radiographer looking for a change or an experienced Band 5 Radiographer looking to progress and join an exciting imaging department.

Qualifications

Please note you will need a BSc Hons Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, HCPC registration, a minimum of 12 months NHS experience; and have had recent work experience within a general X‑ray team using digital radiography technology.

Working Hours

Successful candidates will be expected to contribute towards the community teams 7‑day rotation which includes shifts from 7am to 10pm and also BHs.

Full HCPC registration
Experience of DR x-ray systems
