Job Summary: The successful candidate will be committed to giving our patients and referrers the very best quality of care and service. The CT scanning department currently has nine state of the art CT scanners, increasing to 11, with the planned opening of the UHNM CDC at the beginning of April 2026, providing support to a wide range of referrers, including the level 1 Major Trauma centre, Vascular and Neuro intervention, Paediatric, Musculoskeletal, and Oncology services. Being part of the University Hospital of North Midlands brings the opportunity to contribute to the training of student Radiographers on their clinical placement and of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.

Responsibilities
- Efficient and effective running of the CT lists, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and a safe, efficient environment for the patient.
- Participate in the supervision of student Radiographers and training of CT Radiographers on Band 5/6 preceptorship.
- Maintain good working relationships with all departments.
- Be proactive and keen to fulfil the responsibilities of the Band 6 role as described in the Job Description.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HCPC Essential: Statutory and Mandatory training compliance.
- Experience Essential: Years experience; Reliability and required knowledge.
- Desirable: IV cannulation.
