Make is a fast-growing, AI-first digital agency based in Shoreditch, London. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with a marketing background to join our growing team. We are looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager to help deliver and maintain incredible websites and digital marketing programmes for our clients.
As an AI-first agency, we integrate AI tools and workflows across our delivery process, and we’re looking for someone who’s excited about using AI to work smarter and faster. You will be an experienced Project Manager from an agency background with a good understanding of the website and digital product delivery process, plus a solid grounding in digital marketing.
This is a broader role than a typical delivery PM: alongside managing WordPress and front-end builds, you’ll bring a marketer’s eye to UX, conversion and performance, helping clients get more value from what we build. Delivery of projects and day-to-day management of the project delivery team will be your primary role, however you will also be responsible for client management, client satisfaction and client growth.
The role
- Managing the full life‑cycle of WordPress website design and development projects
- Experience using Asana is an advantage
- Budget management and reporting
- Working closely with Client and internal Development teams
- Must have experience of agile delivery with daily standups and strict deadlines
- Develop and own key project documentation, including project specs, proposals and scheduling
- Evaluate, coordinate and align with the team to assure quality is delivered, on time and on budget
- Proven experience managing technical builds end‑to‑end, from scoping and staging through QA to launch, working closely with developers and designers
Digital marketing & performance
- Solid understanding of core digital marketing disciplines (SEO, paid media, email and content) and how they should inform website strategy and build decisions
- Working knowledge of UX principles, able to input on user journeys, information architecture and site structure alongside designers
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO), including forming hypotheses, prioritising tests and driving iterative improvement post‑launch
- Comfortable analysing web analytics and performance data (e.g. GA4) to inform project decisions, track outcomes and report results to clients
- Experience running or overseeing data studies, such as A/B tests, user research and heatmapping, to validate design and content decisions
- Able to translate marketing and data insight into clear briefs and priorities for the delivery team
AI & ways of working
- Embrace and champion AI tools (such as Claude and other AI tooling) to streamline project workflows, improve efficiency and enhance delivery quality
- A genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied to improve agency processes — you don't need to be an expert, but you should be eager to learn and experiment
Benefits of working at Make
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Discretionary profit share bonus
- Cycle to Work scheme
- Company wellbeing programme
- Access to team and personal development budget
- Regular 'Lunch & Learn' sessions
Time off
- 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Enhanced parental leave
How we work
- Hybrid working (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in office)
- Work from anywhere for one month per year
At Make, we value diversity, creativity, and innovation. We believe that a variety of perspectives makes us stronger, and we encourage applications from all backgrounds.
