Make is a bold, independent and growing digital agency in the heart of East London. Due to continued success, we're looking for a UX/UI Designer to join an established UX/UI team working with an international Sportsbook and Casino gambling industry brand.
As a UX/UI Designer within the team, you will play an active role in shaping specific areas of the player experience, from gathering requirements through to producing polished Figma prototypes. This role requires a strong eye for clean, accurate and consistent design, solid UI creativity skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the craft. You will be involved across the design process, contributing to requirement gathering and user research, iterating based on feedback, and helping to ensure player experiences are intuitive, engaging and compelling. The UX/UI Designer sits within an established UX/UI team working on behalf of an international Sportsbook and Casino brand. The role is responsible for contributing to the design of specific areas of the player experience, producing work that is intuitive, visually consistent, and commercially considered. The designer will work across the full design process under the guidance of senior team members, collaborating closely with UX/UI, Research and Product colleagues.
Key responsibilities- Contribute to the design of player-facing experiences across defined product areas, from initial concept through to Figma prototype
- Gather and interpret design requirements from briefings and stakeholder discussions
- Participate in user research activities, feeding insights into the design process
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from senior designers, stakeholders and research findings
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all design outputs, adhering to established design systems and brand guidelines
- Collaborate with UX/UI, Research and Product team members to deliver user-centric outcomes
- Manage personal workload effectively, flagging priorities and raising blockers in a timely manner
- Explore and apply AI tools where they can improve workflow or enhance the player experience
- Contribute positively to team culture, bringing enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Proven and demonstrable experience of working within design teams in the gambling industry
- Proficient in Figma (including but not limited to prototyping and working within design systems)
- Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
