The Treasurer provides accurate account for the charity finances, logging income and outgoings from all sources and preparing accounts and reports as required.
The Treasurer is a vital role in ensuring the charity is compliant with government guidelines and HMRC requirements. This is vital in ensuring compliant operation and continued charity existence. Furthermore, through budgeting, grant applications and providing financial advice, the treasurer can ensure that our limited funds are best spent towards our charitable aims and objectives, ensuring the maximum possible impact.
Our Treasurer should have experience in managing finances and liaising with regulatory bodies such as HMRC. They will need to have excellent attention to detail to ensure they can accurately record finances and make payments. As the Treasurer will be in charge of reporting our financial status, they will need to have experience in writing financial reports and submitting to regulatory bodies as required, while navigating their complex requirements.
The Treasurer monitors income and expenditure of the accounts, ensuring accurate records are kept and recommending action and direction of funds.
