Urgent Hire | Immediate Start Preferred | Canary Wharf, London | Hybrid | £35,000 – £40,000

We have an exciting opportunity and we need the right person to join us very soon. If you are available immediately or on a short notice period of a couple of weeks, we would love to hear from you. We want this transition to be smooth, positive, and the beginning of something great for both of us.

About Us

MAK25 London is a specialist business immigration firm based in Canary Wharf. Business immigration is all we do, and we do it well. We work with 350+ businesses, helping them secure and manage Sponsor Licences, navigate Skilled Worker visas, and build their international teams with confidence. Our clients are not just case numbers to us, and neither are our people.

Who We Are Looking For

We want someone who genuinely wants to be here for the long term. Someone who sees this not just as a job but as a place to build a real career. We are a close-knit team and when the right person walks through our door, we want them to stay, grow, and thrive with us. That is the kind of relationship we are looking to build.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Consultant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage your own caseload, advise corporate and individual clients, and be a genuine part of a small team where your work is noticed and your contribution actually matters. This is a hybrid role. We are based in Canary Wharf and we would love you to be in with us at least 2 times a week, so ideally you are London based.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Sponsor Licences and Corporate Immigration: Advising businesses on the full Sponsor Licence application process, from eligibility assessments through to submission and approval. Managing Sponsor Licence compliance, making sure our clients stay fully compliant with UKVI requirements at all times. Advising on Certificate of Sponsorship assignments and guiding clients through the process clearly and efficiently. Supporting businesses on Self‑Sponsorship routes and advising on the most appropriate structures for their circumstances.
  • Skilled Worker and Business Mobility Visas: Preparing and filing Skilled Worker visa applications with precision and thorough attention to detail. Advising on Global Business Mobility routes, including Senior or Specialist Worker, Graduate Trainee, UK Expansion Worker, and Service Supplier routes. Supporting high net worth individuals and senior international hires on complex inbound UK immigration strategies.
  • Personal Immigration: Advising clients on spouse, partner, and family visa routes, making sure every application is properly prepared and the client fully understands what is required of them. Handling Visit visa applications and providing clear guidance on eligibility and documentation. Managing Indefinite Leave to Remain applications across a range of routes. Advising on and preparing British Naturalisation applications, guiding clients carefully through the requirements and full process.

Day to Day

  • Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, building trusted and long‑term relationships.
  • Managing your caseload independently while keeping the wider team informed and working collaboratively where needed.
  • Keeping up to date with UKVI policy changes and Home Office guidance and applying that knowledge practically across your cases.
  • Identifying risk early, escalating where appropriate, and always acting in the best interest of the client.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on UK immigration experience.
  • IAA Level 2 or Level 3 registration. This is a regulatory requirement and essential for this role.
  • Proven expertise in Sponsor Licence applications, Skilled Worker visas, and business immigration compliance.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with personal immigration routes including spouse, family, visit, ILR, and British Naturalisation.
  • Experience advising on Global Business Mobility routes and supporting internationally mobile professionals.
  • Experience supporting high net worth individuals and understanding the complexity that often comes with those cases.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent client communication skills, written and verbal. You can explain complex immigration matters clearly without overwhelming people.
  • Strong independent research ability and the confidence to form a well‑reasoned view on a complex case.
  • Good judgement when it comes to identifying risk and knowing when to elevate.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and deadlines comfortably and independently.
  • Competent across Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, and genuinely cares about the outcomes they deliver for clients.

Salary (The Important Bit)

We are offering £35,000 to £40,000 depending on your experience. Your salary is reviewed every year, performance incentives are on the table, and as MAK25 grows, the people who are part of this journey will grow with it too.

Perks of Joining Us

  • Work in a fast‑growing, well‑regarded firm at the iconic Canary Wharf.
  • Real responsibility and direct exposure to a high‑calibre corporate client base from day one.
  • Career development and professional growth. As MAK25 grows, so will your role.
  • A supportive and inclusive environment where your contribution is seen, valued, and rewarded.
  • We have an in‑house barista. The coffee is genuinely good.
