MAK Jobs is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Driver in Daventry. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual seeking a varied, multi-skilled role within a busy warehouse environment. This is a comprehensive 360 warehouse position combining operational, administrative, and forklift duties. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of warehouse management, from goods receipt and despatch to order fulfilment and customer liaison.
Location: Daventry
Salary: £15.00 per hour (Overtime rate: £22.50 per hour)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving goods and verifying them in good condition
- Picking and packing orders
- Labelling and reworking of products
- Loading and unloading of trailers
- Goods in and goods out
- Stock control and inventory management
- Operating Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Handling emails and phone calls from transport companies and customers, arranging deliveries, and providing support
