Location: Daventry
Salary: £12.21 – £15.23 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 12:00 – 20:30
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to play a vital role in managing our client logistics and transport operations.
Responsibilities:
- Solid understanding of transport and client requirements.
- Prepare orders, including load building for efficient transport.
- Address clients query professionally via email and telephone.
- Identify and plan the most suitable routes and transportation methods, considering the nature of goods, costs, transit times, and security.
- Ensure timely transport arrangements are made to meet customer KPIs.
- Prepare, issue, and verify transportation documents.
- Track shipments through all phases of the journey as needed.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Administrative tasks, including data entry and filing of transport documentation.
- Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate recording of transport data.
- Any other required tasks.
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
