MAK Jobs is recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives / FLT Drivers for our valued client based in Daventry. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with an excellent employer that is prepared to invest in the right candidates' training and development, offering very good working conditions.
Location: Daventry
Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Pay Rates:
- Starting rate: £13.20 per hour, rising to £13.86 per hour once fully trained
- Overtime & Saturday: £19.80 - £20.79 per hour
- Sunday: £26.40 - £27.72 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Order picking using trolleys and handheld scanners
- Order packing using a banding machine
- Moving pallets and goods safely around the warehouse
- Restacking pallets and performing general forklift duties
- Manual loading/unloading of containers when required
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
Note: Some boxes may weigh up to 25 kg.
About You:
- Hold a valid, in-date forklift truck training certificate (in-house certificates accepted)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
