We have a very exciting opportunity to recruit to a full time Band 5 role at MAK Community Care. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic RMN to join our fantastic community team within Lincoln. MAK Community Care are committed to an integrated service model that strives to provide quality recovery-based support to people with severe and enduring mental health related difficulties.
The successful applicant will be providing high quality person-centred care to people we support, families and staff. You need to have a sound knowledge of psycho-social interventions, supporting people we support to work towards recovery goals, build self-resilience and promote independent living, along with crisis management.
The post holder will be working within a friendly Multi-Disciplinary Team which includes Clinical Lead, Occupational Therapist, Support Team members, Registered manager, Service Managers and Admin staff. You will also be working alongside Neighbourhood Teams, Integrated Placement Based Teams, Adult Social Care, GP surgeries and other organisations to ensure the best outcomes for patients and carers.
The successful applicant will be offered robust clinical and managerial supervision on a regular basis in order that they may complete their role to the best of their ability and with sound knowledge and confidence. Additional training courses are available and you will be encouraged to participate to continue with your own Professional Development and to keep up-to-date with the most recent evidence-based practice.

Experience:
- Relevant experience of working with adults with mental health needs or clear evidence of substantial experience of working with individuals in crisis and skills that are transferable to the community.
- Experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental illnesses.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Skills and Competences:
- Sound knowledge of national agenda for mental health.
- Sound knowledge of risk assessment and understanding of Information Governance principles.
- Demonstrate the ability to upskill staff.
- Ability to work independently and collectively.
- Highly developed clinical reasoning skills.
- Highly motivated and able to engage with people we support and staff to improve outcomes.
- Highly developed communication skills.
Qualifications:
- RMN or RNLD or RN: 1st Level Registration (NMC) or degree or equivalent.
- Currently Registered Nurse.
- ENB998 / FliPS or equivalent.
- Evidence of specialised continued professional training (degree level) in clinical practice.
- Mentorship Module (degree level).
Desirable:
- Management training.
Special Requirements:
- Ability to travel independently across Lincolnshire and UK.
