Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our client's busy transport team based in Wakefield. This is an ongoing role, initially for 6 weeks, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debriefing drivers at the end of their shifts
  • Completing and maintaining accurate transport and compliance records
  • Providing general administrative support to the transport department
  • Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
  • Supporting compliance with relevant transport regulations and internal policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a transport administration or similar logistics administration role
  • Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
