Class 2 Driver (Ongoing) – Leeds, LS25 Major Logistics are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for Class 2 Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity of a permanent, full-time position for the right candidates. Role Details Driving an 18-tonne vehicle with tail lift Monday to Friday – no weekend work required Start time: 05:00, finishing around 15:30 Average 45 hours per week Delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen food products Multidrop deliveries – typically around 15 drops per day Delivery areas include Hull, Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool, and South Yorkshire Use of a pallet truck provided, though some handball may be required Consistent routes where possible – drivers are often kept on the same run each week Training Full 1-week training programme Shadowing an experienced driver before going out independently Ongoing support from the transport team Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Newly qualified drivers welcome No more than 6 penalty points Must be 21 years or olderThis is a great opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent role.
