This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, thrives on keeping things organised and wants to play an important role in keeping vital projects running smoothly.\\n\\nWhat's in it for you?\\n\\nDevelopment and growth opportunities\\nCompetitive salary (£27,000 – £33,000 per annum)\\nMonday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 4pm – giving you an early finish for the weekend\\nImmediate start\\nHoliday purchase scheme up to 15 days \\n\\nRole Overview:\\n\\nIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the stores area in an organised, efficient and safe condition while supporting the wider operations team to ensure materials and equipment are always available when needed.

You will help identify areas for improvement, suggest better ways of working, and support the introduction of new processes as the company continues to grow and evolve.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nCarry out general stores and warehouse duties, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.\\nCheck incoming orders for accuracy, manage any shortages or discrepancies, and maintain clear records.\\nOversee the flow of goods in and out of the stores, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.\\nLiaise with Operations Management and other departments to ensure stock levels meet production and site requirements.\\nMonitor stock levels of consumables, place orders when needed, and balance stock availability with cost-effective stockholding.\\nPick and kit materials and equipment accurately for production and site teams.\\nKeep the stores area clean, safe and well-organised in line with company standards and health and safety regulations.\\nMaintain compliance with the company's quality, environmental and health & safety management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001).\\nCarry out regular stock takes and update stock records accurately in the company's database.\\nActively contribute ideas to improve stores processes, stock control and operational efficiency. \\n\\nKey Skills & Experience:\\n\\nPrevious experience working in a stores, warehouse or similar environment is essential.\\nComputer literate with experience of using stock management systems, or a willingness to learn quickly.\\nA valid forklift truck licence.\\nFull UK driving licence and own transport is essential.\\nStrong communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships across teams.\\nExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.\\nA proactive approach with the confidence to highlight problems and suggest solutions.\\nAble to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\\nFlexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude to change and continuous improvement. \\n\\nWhat's On Offer:\\n\\nIn return, our client offers a competitive salary, ongoing support and development, and the chance to be part of a growing company at the forefront of their industry.
