Stock Manager Are you an established Stock Manager or Stock Replenishment Supervisor seeking your next step up in your career? Worked within a similar role in a fast-paced Supply Chain environment? Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Stock Manager to join our client’s manufacturing site near Leeds As Stock Manager you will be responsible for to ensure the controlled availability of packaging & products to the production function.. Key Responsibilities as Stock Manager: * Develop, lead and manage Stock replenishment team – Drive the team’s best practice, appraisal, mid-year reviews and personal development plans * Development of supplier performance monitoring systems and continuous improvement programmes * Review all Stock replenishment systems & processes with continuous improvement methodology * First escalation point for poor supplier performance / supply shortage * Develop & maintain Stock replenishment KPI Dashboard and communicate to key stakeholders * Placing contracts (4- 13 Weeks Demand) & call offs (1–3-week demand) to cover forecasted volume and production plans * Collaborating with Supply planning, Demand planning, GTM & commercial to ensure all information is correct and present to enable Call offs and contract to be accurate and timely * Full end to end management of suppliers covering short- & long-term demand, expedition of materials where appropriate, chasing of short or late deliveries and any other queries that could arise in the day-to-day management of the suppliers. * Support S&OP / Mini S&OP process where necessary. * Attend weekly/ ad hoc meeting’s where appropriate contributing progress updates * Raise hold / rejection notes in accordance with agreed procedures and manage through with supplier to closure * Maintenance of purchase orders in line with date/quantity changes. * Reconciliation of Sage versus Infor and adjustments to Sage stock where applicable * Carry out periodic reviews of safety stocks and lead times for all ordered components * Responding to any Invoice queries that come through from finance relating to receipts on Sage. * Management, maintenance and analysis of the Packaging Runout Report and associated tools * Use of Sage Line 500 to log and monitor Contract & call off commitments * Monitor and track contract in line with Procurement to maximise PPV. * Proactive management of the R Status procedure to reduce exposure to potential obsolescence * Facilitate packaging redesign process managing delist and NPD launches for portfolio * Development of supplier performance monitoring systems and continuous improvement programmes * Assistance with Regular Stock Take Activity as required.
