As part of the ongoing growth plan, you will be an integral part of the Leadership Team. This role will be site based near Leicester. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career and manage a small but growing manufacturing unit.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Overseeing complete production operations.
- Managing around 15 direct reports.
- Ensuring quality control, staff management, monitoring production schedules.
- Optimising production processes.
- Lead through your direct reports and their teams 100% service to the customer.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain target GMP score delivery.
- Ensure product is made to specification.
- Ensuring Health & Safety rules are always followed.
- Hold daily reviews (KPI driven) within your department with improvement a key purpose.
- Focus and drive plan conformance.
- Plan and grow staff to required population, creating multi-skilled staff.
- Liaising with the production planner to plan/deliver the most efficient production plan.
- Set Team leaders objectives, hold reviews and coach to success or hold to account.
- Look at all products run rates and manning and change to improved standards on production plan.
- Recommending and implementing process improvement.
- Through the teams promote projects targeting ingredient yield improvement.
- Manage and control WIP.
Skills and characteristics as Production Manager:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within FMCG sector in a previous position.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- BRCG experience is essential.
- Knowledge of High-Risk manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ability to analyse production data and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
