Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client’s manufacturing site near High Wycombe
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities within the facility. This includes managing the maintenance team, ensuring the proper upkeep of equipment and facilities, scheduling repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on technical expertise, as well as the ability to manage people and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities as Maintenance Manager:
* Lead manage and motivate the site maintenance team.
* Ensure a safe systems of work culture is maintained and followed.
* Oversee the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
* Ensure that all machinery and equipment is maintained to meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and inspections.
* Budget and Inventory Control.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, including safety standards and environmental requirements.
* Oversee repairs and ensure that corrective actions are taken quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
* Implementation of CI initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience as HSE Manager
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
Associate’s degree or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance) with equivalent experience may also be considered.
Previous experience in maintenance management, including proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience in [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, utilities, construction, etc.] preferred.
Proven experience in managing maintenance operations for equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
