Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our client’s site at their manufacturing site near Banks, Lancashire.
The primary role of the Quality Coordinator is to provide professional and effective support to the factory in relation to technical and quality issues.
Key Responsibilities as Quality Coordinator:- Improve & maintain the customer & internal data requirements by capturing, analysing & reporting technical data.
- Quality manual administration of policies, procedures & results documents.
- Update factory procedures, methods & policies & train out to staff.
- Logs, investigates & responds to customer complaints, trending as required & feeding back information to the customer in a timely & professional manner.
- Assist in all non-conformance & root cause investigations.
- Ensure all traceability documentation is completed correctly.
- Undertake traceability exercises upon request.
- Audit & file production paperwork, communicate to production & drive improvements.
- Support the process of providing safe & legal produce to the customer.
- Ensuring all micro samples are collated & entered onto the Intertek Net Portal system & generate new codes as required.
- Assist with & record shelf-life results, obtain product samples as required & submit to laboratory.
- Undertake benchmarking on a weekly basis.
- Able to work independently without supervision.
- To ensure document control is undertaken at all times.
- To assist the Quality or Technical manager upon request.
- Actively participate in Audits, GMP, Internal & external.
- Customer requests for product samples, involvement in NPD process.
- Foster a good food safety culture throughout the company.
What’s in for you?

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience within a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement solutions effectively.
- BRCG experience.
- Experience in QMS Systems.
- HACCP Level 3, Level 4 would be desirable.
- Level 3 Food Safety, Level 4 would be desirable.
