We are recruiting for an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and improving machine reliability.
The Role:
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault find and repair production machinery to minimise downtime
- Respond to breakdowns and identify root causes of faults
- Support machine set-up, calibration and production changeovers
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- Support mechanical tasks where required and develop multi-skilled capability
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
About You:
- Electrical engineering or maintenance background within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on production machinery
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and safe isolation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred
- Inspection & Testing experience advantageous
