Manufacturing Team Leader
Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield
Shifts: Rotating shifts – 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Carry out team briefings and provide training and support where required.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaise with production management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Complete production paperwork and reports accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
