THE ROLE
As part of continued business growth, my client has immediate requirements for an industry experienced sales professional with a technical knowledge of industrial information and communication technology, ideally within Automation and IoT markets.
However my client is open to a junior sales executive or technical support engineer looking to move into a sales focussed position with full training being provided for anyone looking to move into a technical/sales role.
Please be aware this role will be office based 5 days per week from a Redditch location and ideally require access to a car based on the office location.
THE PERSON
At least 12 months experience in a technical sales or inside sales capacity with a proven background expanding existing accounts
Ability to drive the sales of products and technical services across an existing customer base whilst creating new business opportunities through appropriate sales and marketing channels
Ability to qualify positive leads through structured conversations and identify client needs using industry related analysis techniques. This includes qualifying target companies and identify key points of contacts across industries related businesses
You will act as a conduit between key clients and internal stakeholders including technical support, sales orders and the finance team
Ability to manage requests for quotes, this includes: pre-qualifying, negotiation, quote follow-ups and order confirmation
A technical understanding of industrial information and communication technology within the Automation and IT and OT markets (highly desirable)
A strong and self-driven team player with great problem solving skills and an ability to communicate to a non-technical audience
