Plus £3000 Welcome bonus with SEN Experience

Full-Time Term Time Only

Location: KT24 5JP

Hours: 40 Hours per week

Start time: 8.15am - Finish time: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 4.45pm, Thursday 5pm and Friday 4pm

School Staffing Solutions are recruiting a Pastoral Lead and Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a dedicated team at a SEN School, where they support students aged 11-16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) through a nurturing and inclusive approach. The staff empower young people to access the national curriculum in a way that works for them and to achieve meaningful vocational qualifications by the time they leave school.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To develop the improvement of individual and site practice around behaviour and safeguarding and be responsible for policy implementation of these elements
  • To coordinate the effective implementation of the Attendance Policy.
  • To provide rapid response to staff when a child is in need.
