Major IT & Digital are proud to be partnering with a leading international business with over 30 years industry experience delivering industrial IT solutions across both manufacturing, energy and utility sectors. Successfully achieved Investors in People award for the last 20+ years and continue to invest in self-development for all internal teams.

My client operates the software development arm of the business from a Chesterfield location. As part of continued expansion within the software development team, my client has immediate requirements for an experienced C# .NET (v.10) Developer with strong React (v.19) skills to support the development of new features, new applications and API integrations. This is a brand new role with exciting opportunity to join a well-established development team.

The ideal candidate will bring a wide toolset of coding projects with at least 5 years commercial experience in developing .NET applications with a strong focus on React based development features. Due to the nature of the work involved, you will be required to attend the Chesterfield office at least 2 days per week with Wednesday becoming a set day for all staff to work in the office.

Some of the key engineering and AI requisites for this position are listed as follows:

  • React / TypeScript / Visual Studio / .NET 10
  • SignalR (real-time communication)
  • Tailwind CSS / UI experience
  • OOP and Entity Frameworks
  • Dependency injection
  • Unit and integration testing
  • PostgreSQL / SQL Servers including Vector search API integrations
  • Knowledge of using AI tools such as Claude (Anthropic) or Copilot

Highly desirable (not essential):

  • Python for AI tooling and evaluation scripts
  • Semantic Kernel or LangChain frameworks
  • Linux / Docker
  • MCP experience
