Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Your Role as a Production Operative
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in assembling essential components using power tools and detailed engineering drawings. You’ll also be involved in operating machinery as part of the production process. This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in precision and quality.
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Week 1: Friday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Week 2: Friday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
37 hours per week. Early finish every Friday.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out basic production duties.
- Building and assembling agricultural vehicle components.
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
- Using a variety of power tools.
- Reading and working from detailed technical drawings.
- Performing basic quality checks.
- Working efficiently in a fast‑moving production setting.
- Collaborating with your team while also being confident working independently.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in production or manufacturing (preferred).
- Confidence using power tools and machinery.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
- Strong communication skills.
