Job Description
Major Healthcare are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistants to cover shifts in Care Homes throughout Teesside.
Whether you're looking for full-time hours or occasional shifts we have day and night positions available to suit your requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents
- Leading a team of healthcare assistants to ensure high standards of care are delivered
- Administering medication, as prescribed, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Maintaining individual care plans
- Undertaking all aspects of personal care
- Liaising with healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate documentation
We are looking for staff who have the following skills and experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- At least 12 months experience, working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in care homes within the UK
- Confident administering medication
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to pay for a DBS)
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality person-centred care
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
