Major IT & Digital have partnered with one of the UK’s leading financial services business, operating across 5 major UK cities with 25% year on year growth plans for 2025.
My client has an exciting opportunity for a talented mid-level or senior developer to work in a full-stack capacity and requirements to work onsite 4 days per week from a central Leeds location.
You will be joining a small and diverse team of IT professionals to work on several React based projects utilising Next.JS and PostgreSQL.
Are you someone with a keen eye for detail with a strong technical proficiency?
This role is to build on existing web applications using React and Next.JS.
Whilst the main platform is built on PHP 8.3 and Laravel this role will focus on JavaScript libraries such as Survey.JS and database management using JSON to configure libraries and DB views.
You will play a key part in building user-friendly solutions with a strong emphasis on architecture design including developing new features and increased functionality.
The benefits of working within a small development team gives you the opportunity to contribute collaboratively and look for ways to improve the current software systems.
Here’s the techy stuff…
- Ideally suit someone with at least 4+ years commercial knowledge of React (Next.JS) and PHP technology (v8.3 and above) with an ability to design, code, test, debug, and deploy applications using the above tech stack
- A good understanding of database design and development such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL (relational and no-SQL JSON)
- Knowledge of working with user interfaces with a focus on UX / UI design principles
- Ability to deploy and manage applications using cloud based solutions (Azure or AWS)
- Ability to contribute in a team working environment, bringing insight and new ideas to the development team with a ‘think outside the box’ approach to work
Additional skills include:
- REST API’s
- AG Grids or similar
- AG Charts or similar
- Survey.JS
