As a business, my client operates across 8 national UK sites covering international food production and supply chain management into 17 countries worldwide.
This is a new opportunity to bring inhouse a fully functional IT specialist team to support my clients site in East Kilbride (Scotland).
The ideal person will come from a similar IT technical support vertical, ideally with a strong commercial awareness of troubleshooting level 1 and 2 enquiries, with working knowledge of internal systems including O365, Windows 10 including servers 2016/19 and firewall security exposure.
You will have a proven ability to problem solve and work effectively with the internals teams including close collaboration with the IT manager based at my clients Burton office.
This is an opportunity to gain wider experience working with core network systems including routers, switches, WiFi backups and VOIP systems.
Additional to this, you will provide hardware support the technical estate from desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens and internal telephone systems.
My client operates a JIRA system to manage the service desk tickets and to ensure requests are responded to within agreed SLAs.
It would also be great to hear from anyone that has core networking exposure including CISCO and DNS / DHCP knowledge. xiskglj
**Due to the role and location, you will need access to a car and will be required to be operational onsite 5 days per week which may include some additional overtime.
