We are recruiting for a busy Sub‑Contract Precision Engineering Company that produces high‑quality precision components for a wide range of industries.
The role is ideal for an experienced CNC Miller or CNC Turner who enjoys machining complex one‑offs and small batches rather than repetitive tasks.
Responsibilitys
- Program, set and operate CNC mills or CNC lathes.
- Produce precision one‑offs, prototypes and small‑batch components.
- Work from engineering drawings.
- Inspect own work using standard measuring equipment.
- Operate to tight tolerances in a quality‑driven environment.
- Take projects from programme to finished component.
Qualifications
- Apprentice‑trained or time‑served CNC Miller or CNC Turner.
- Engineer CNC programming experience essential.
- Experience with one or more of the following controls: Haas, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, Hurco.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems at the machine.
- Experience in a subcontract precision engineering environment is advantageous.
